WCAR’S REALTORS® GOOD WORKS FOUNDATION RECEIVES MAJOR GRANT FROM REALTRACS SOLUTIONS®

Donation celebrates 20th Anniversary of RealTracs Solutions® Multiple Listing Service

Franklin, Tenn. (June 2, 2016) – The REALTORS® Good Works Foundation, the community service foundation of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® (WCAR), received a major $2,500 contribution today, according to an announcement by David Logan, 2016 President of WCAR. The contribution is being made by RealTracs Solutions®, the Multiple Listing Service for Middle Tennessee, in celebration and recognition of the MLS’s 20th Anniversary.

“WCAR has always been committed to investing in our community,” said Logan. “This contribution from RealTracs Solutions®, which is one of the largest the foundation has ever received, will help us continue making a difference here in Williamson County. We want to thank our friends at RealTracs Solutions® for making their 20th anniversary even more meaningful by celebrating in this creative way. And, we congratulate them on the way they demonstrate their commitment to excellence in service every single day.”

“RealTracs® is celebrating 20 years of providing a valuable real estate listing platform to agents throughout the region,” said RealTracs Solutions® CEO Stuart White. “The best way we know to show our appreciation of where we live and who we serve is to give back to the community.   Contributing to WCAR’s REALTORS® Good Works Foundation means that they have increased resources to apply in their community. We commend them on the foresight they had when they formed the foundation.”

The REALTORS® Good Works Foundation was initiated in 2008 and has distributed nearly $100,000 since 2009. The foundation was formed to grant scholarships to graduating seniors of Williamson County Public High Schools within Williamson County each year. The scholarship is intended to assist students with their higher education goals. Funds from the foundation were also used to support the rebuilding efforts after the floods in May of 2010 and to assist local families affected by other disasters.

“This is a very encouraging and exciting moment for the REALTORS® Good Works Foundation,” said Jennifer Stacey, 2016 Chairman of the organization’s board of trustees. “Most of the funds we receive come from special events we host – which require a lot of work. It is very affirming to receive this gift. We are deeply grateful for this important contribution from RealTracs Solutions® and look forward to putting it to the very best use.”
